    A friend made me one like that and I stitched it to a royal purple square and made it the center of my purple and white quilt. I love that quilt!

    that is gorgeous, that is not the easiest pattern to make. i made a small one long ago. charish it. they also last forever. i have some of both my GMs made, i still show them off but dont use them any more. they are too old now.

    Kacy, Your crocheted center piece reminds me of the pieces that a friend of my mom's used to make in the 50's. This is a beautiful heirloom piece and she is a wonderful friend. :thumbup:

    Thanks again for all your wonderful comments. My friend and her husband just left and will be going back to Kansas in the am. We have had a wonderful time together and we played on Miss Kate my longarm. She loved the stitch regulator and we both learned several new tips to keep in mind when using Kate.

    Oh my, that reminds me of the crocheted table tops my mom used to make and the same pinapple pattern. What a wonderful gift and looks grand on your table.
