That woman sounds like a wonderful friend to help you finish up this very special quilt. I agree- quilters are the best!
I am sorry for all of you who've lost your mothers. I just came back from visiting mine and treasure every visit and phone call and thank God every single day for still having her.
    Hugs to all :)

Oh Honey I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that you were able to give your Mom something that gave her comfort and joy before she passed. I hope that your quilt gives your daughter comfort knowing that both you and your Mom are holding her close as she is wrapped in her quilt. I wish her a speedy recovery. My thoughts are with you and yours.

    Thank you,
I'm hoping she is a member here and see's her work. I am so pleased with how it turned out.
She wouldn't take anything for doing the work so I found a quilting book I hope she does not already have and gifted her with it. I hope she likes it. :D

It's a beautiful quilt. I am glad it was finished for you. I lost my mom in 2000 suddenly it was hard. She had an unfinished pineapple table cloth she was croqueting. I found a woman who finished it for me. It's my treasure.
