I believe every time you look at the quilt you will think of your mom and the wonderful lady who quilted it for you. The quilt is gorgeous!!!

What a lovely tribute to your Mom and what an incredible new friend you have found. I hope you will have many wonderful moments wrapped in your beautiful quilt.

    Purplefriend,
I am sorry too that you lost your Mother. I would Love to see the quilt that you made for her. I am glad that your siblings did not find the need to keep it for them selves. Please post us a photo of it?
    Best wishes,

I would have to find it. The black fabric that was used in the little squares have all shredded, so I've put the quilt away so it won't suffer further damage.
    Thanks Faith.

What a beautiful way to remember your mother! To you and other NW quilters, come and join us for a get together on Saturday, Sept 18 at 2 Doods. We do show and tell and have goodies! It's a blast! PM her for directions. She is just west of Portland!

The quilt and the story behind it are both beautiful. Quilters are some of the nicest people!!! Your Mom would be so proud of you! :)
