Ok. I give up. What's wrong with it? It looks pretty to me!

Even though you say it's not perfect, it was your first project. You will get better with practice. Rip it is in my vocabulary and I have done plenty of that.

Remember, practice makes perfect, but there is no perfect quilt.

Have fun and make your memories

Don't feel bad at all! We have all cut things a bit crooked! Finish it, no one will ever know.

I still like it  Don't be so hard on yourself..you learned something. No matter how long we have been at this, we all goof at one time or another.

I think you did a great job and agree with the others. Line it up, Cut a sliver off each side OR use a wider binding and before long, even you will probably forget you had a problem with it. It is beautiful and you can be proud of it. I'm sure that you deserved every compliment you got. Enjoy the support you got and will continue to get as well as your beautiful table topper. :-)

I didn't really deserve all the nice compliments you all gave me.
From what I can see in the photo the error is only on the left side near the bottom, right? I can see that when you bind it you would be disappointed to lose the point of the middle block if you trim both sides all the way up to match, so how about if you trim starting from all four corners toward the center and angle it so that you don't end up trimming anything at the points of the center block? When you bind it the points will meet the binding, and your piece will have 8 sides instead of 6.
