    We are in the process of doing the same thing. My dh is building the tables and shelves. What are you using for the counter tops? I've decided on white formica. I had paint on the last one and wasn't pleased with that. We thought about trying to shellac it but I think we will go with the formica.

    Its going to be wonderful. It is always special to have your very own room. I love mine. Shelves from floor to ceiling and all kind of storage. But it is a mess right now.
