    Best Friends Quilt - Flimsy

A while back, I had posted a picture of some blocks that I had acquired. QuiltE knew the pattern of the block is 'Best Friends', it's paper piecing and the pattern can be found on Quilter's Cache. The finished blocks are 8".

I 'finally' got a break and put sashing, cornerstones and a couple of little borders and turned out this flimsy. I think it's really cool. I'm not a huge scrappy person but this one is .... pretty darn cool.

    Thanks for looking!

Very Nice - looks complex when you look at the finished quilt, but when you look at the individual blocks, it is easier!

Thanks everyone. I've always know finished tops, unquilted, are known as flimsy's... maybe someone else can elaborate on that?

I think the best part of finishing someone else's work is so it can be somewhere others can enjoy it instead of in a pizza box!

    WOW ... WTxRed ...
So glad that I was able to help you find the pattern when you were able to turn this into such an amazing finish. Now I can't wait to see it all quilted too, as it will only get nicer!
    Congratulations!
