With a Lot of Help from Friends--LeMoyne S&W Star flimsy

I asked for some advice from the QB members when I was debating adding to the size and this is what I came up with. This is the original fabric.

Some of the cool LeMoyne Stars from the pattern. They are 8-inch blocks.

The big center medallion is 24 inches set on point.

This is the finished top with the ribbon border. It is also the first white background quilt I have made. The only thing that remains to be done before sending to a quilter is to mark the scallops on the edges as it will be a scalloped border and I plan to bind in the original fabric. The only other fabrics used were the floral colors in blenders to make the piano key border to surround the middle medallion. I added four blocks to fill in the blank spaces with smaller stars.

Thank you for all the advice and thoughts. I so appreciate this group who are so willing to lend different eyes to the process. As you can tell, I so love S&W and the amazing variety of blocks that you can get with just one fabric. Also am enjoying exploring new settings for the blocks.

Another stunner Q65!! You take S&W to a whole new level. Have you ever considered doing one of Paula Nadelstern's kaleidoscopes??
