    they are both very nice...but aren't they gonna end up like that anyway...when you add rows together? When you add the third row it will be a combination of both...but it sure is pretty

    I like # 2 -- I think it is because the color of the strips meeting between the blocks blends better. Like everyone else, I'm really not sure why
