Binding in a basket
#2
Cute idea! Someone posted recently about putting theirs on the 2nd upright spool spindle on the machine, so I tried that yesterday and it worked well for a lap size quilt, not sure how a queen size would work with the extra meters of binding.

Great idea. As I attach my binding to the quilt using an iron and Elmer's Glue, I rigged up a toilet paper holder with empty toilet paper roller to my pants belt. It rolls off as I press the binding to the quilt. Then I can take it to the machine and stitch it on using no pins.

I put mine into the plastic garbage "can" by my left foot that is there for large scraps! With my luck I'd have the whole darn basket land in my lap! Great idea though!
I've also put it in one of the drawers to the left of my machine. Anything to contain it!
