Default Missouri Star Disappearing Pinwheel/Churn Dash

I made this quilt to be donated to the Precinct Watch Program to raffle off this week at the County Fair. The block pattern is one of the latest ones from Jenny Doan, Missouri Star Quilt Co. This is the disappearing pinwheel/churn dash that she put up on Youtube @ a month ago. It took me a while to get it done because I just didn't like it. Finally figured out why, too. It's too dull! I like vibrant color & this one reminds me of the Civil War quilts. I hope we raise lots of $$ with it though!

I find it boring to work on quilts with not much color, but they are still beautiful when finished. Your quilt is lovely, and hopefully will sell a lot of tickets.

I like your quilt! But I like quiet quilts. I read an article one time that claimed blue quilts raised the most money in auctions and raffles. Hope your quilt raises lots of money.

That is very pretty. Even though there is probably less contrast that you like, it is a beautiful quilt.

It's a wonderful quilt, even though it's too tame for you! Someone, especially a blue lover will be very happy to own this. Very kind of you to donate and I hope it raises a lot of $.

I think you'll do well with this quilt - it's so well done and the blues are very appealing to a wide audience. Good luck.

Agree ... blue quilts with one other color, usually white, are always "best sellers" and most admired.
