Dont know if she answered yet but the block is called Bettys delight from quilterscache.com. ITs a 12" block and really easy to make! I love the black/white together that shes done!!

It also looks like the pattern "Beveled blocks" by Aardvark Quilts (www.aardvarkquilts.com), designed by Pamela Goecke Dinndorf and here is a quilt I made from this pattern--very similar to the black and white quilt posted here. :-D
