I got the idea from the Sept/October 2011 issue of Fons and Porter. They have it as a scrappy but knowing my step-daughter likes black and white, I just used 18 different black and white fq's. With having half of each one left over, I used them on the back, figured it was a good use of them. Thanks for looking!!!

The pattern is from Fons and Porter Sept/Oct 2011, called Pick-Up Sticks. They have it as a scrappy. They say cut the blocks 5" then cut in half to make 2 1/2 x 5 rectangles. I just cut 2 1/2" strips and then sewed to white strips if it was wh-on-blk or blk strips if it was blk-on-wh, (I used 9 wh-on-blk and 9 blk-on-wh fq's, then just strip pieced them. It was a quick top to make (it stated easy in the mag, and they were right). Thanks for looking!!!

This pattern is in Fons and Porter, Sept/Oct 2011 issue. They have it as a scrappy. The patter is called "Pick-Up Sticks". OH, and it is rated as "Easy", and I agree with them, had the top done in two days. Thanks for looking!!!
