Beautiful. I have been collecting black and whites, and have added some reds, I bought a book with a great pattern, and I have learned to applique. Your quilt has given me inspiration. I think I am ready to start cutting fabric.

Have several black and white fabrics already and am wondering how many more I will need to do something like this. Is it planned out by light/medium/dark or just light and dark? How many different ones of each?

Really like the look you created!
