I really like the choice of fabrics; the different choices for the urns fit the pattern style exactly. I'm especially intrigued by the thin-striped pink of some of the backgrounds and of the borders. It's perfect for the style of the quilt.

You're absolutely right about the blackbirds in the border, they're the first thing I noticed after the center blocks. Great job.

Another beautiful one, Eddie - I can't tell from the photos but wonder if you applique by hand or by machine.
