My DH will try to make things for me if I really explain it well enough. LOL His dad never let him do fix em ups, and he didn't have shops class in school. Its called trial and error, but he does get it done.

Your husband did a great job! It is certainly nicer to have a custom built work area!

Wow! Looks like he did a great job! You are so lucky to have a carpenter for a husband.

My husband and son do all sorts of woodworking for a hobby. My husband made me a cutting/ironing/storage table to my specs and a spinning wheel made from 100+ yr. old walnut barn beam. Our son is making this horse barn (1/9th scale for our DGD) Both are amazing self taught carpenters.

Nice set-up. Great to have a DH who likes to work with wood.

WOW. This is great. Everything is so neat. Do you loan your husband out? I'd like to see what he could make of my space too!

Wow, such talented husbands. I have one also & love & appreciate all that he does for me every day. He never really had a lot of interest in my hobby when I just sewed for our 2 girls, growing up. Now, that I am into quilting, he can't help enough. Has made me custom cabinets etc. for my machines & display shelves for my vintage machines & always open to suggestions when I need other things done to make my quilting a little easier. We are so fortunate.
