    Thanks, everyone. The pattern can be purchased at modernquiltstudio.com . It's the featured pattern in Volume 3 of Weeks & Ringle's magazine, Modern Quilts Illustrated. I increased the pattern from three vertical rows to five for a larger quilt. You do have to pay attention and measure after every additional bar is added, or your vertical rows can begin to curve. A 6.5"x24" ruler is perfect for this. I lined one side of the ruler on the edge of the narrow stripe and the other with the edge of the block. One of the hardest things for me was to be random, both in my choice of colors as well as in the angle of the colored bars.
