Default Blue and Gold lovers

I finished this piece yesterday...I love the little poinsettia in the center.My camera needs adjusted,,,the fabric has gold threads but they aren't showing on this pic.

Love it, very pretty. You have just given me an idea for a quilt my mom is working on - she is doing small dresden plates, putting them on background squares, and she is embroidering around all the blades. I get the honor of putting all these blocks together and quilting. I can picture putting her squares into a hexagon setting like yours. Now just to figure out how to put them together. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Ladies,,,these are OCTAGONS!!! Like stop signs...hexagons have six sides,,,just a reminder!! Hard to remember ! LOL!
