Beautiful! I'm in the "starting to plan" stage of a bargello. I hope my color choices are as perfect as yours!

that is really beautiful. i am not a great fan of bargello, but this one has made me reconsider. like it alot.

Wooo Hoooo......This is gorgeous!!!!! Love the color choice and it looks great against the black background...it really makes the blue pop!!! :)

I LOVE it! You did a great job!

As far as quilting...it is so hard on this one? I think if it were mine I would do a filler design in the background..and feathers following the pattern in each section of your ribbon (strata). In the last black borer I would use a blue thread and make feathers all the way around.

I spent a lot of time in the "starting to plan" stage too. I read all the posts and tutorials on here and read several instructional books. I finally said to myself "just get moving!" Truly, the hardest part was chosing the colors. I have never spent so much time agonizing over fabric selection :)
