I'm sorry for all the loss and potential loss you and your wife will experience. Mom Allen will appreciate your kindness very much, I'm sure. The quilting looks like many hearts, that will reach around her and cover her in your warmth and love.

Love the way the green center block just pops! I've recently made a light/dark blue log cabin and let me tell you the center was just there...not popping or anything. What a difference adding a splash of color does! Like it!

I first have to tell you both that I am so sorry to hear of your wife's dad. Please tell her that she is in my prayers. I know it is sometimes harder to have someone you love sick and with nothing to do but wait on them in the hospital to see how they recover. Very stressful, indeed. I hope you both are being extra kind to each other.

I love the quilt for your "mom", I know she will just love it. I also am sorry to hear of her sickness. Bless her heart.

Sorry for your friend's diagnosis. What a shame. Your quilt is gorgeous. My favorite color combination is blue and yellow. I'm sure your friend will love it.
