I think you may have made a perfect quilt. (I haven't yet, lol.) Everything about it is perfection: the design is beautifully balanced, the piecing and fabric choices, the quilting, the piping, the backing, every little thing is perfect. Congratulations on making such a beautiful quilt. (I hope it's yours to keep.)

If I were a betting person, I'd say odds are pretty good you're new "hybrid piping" technique is going to go viral! Love it and everything about that quilt! Fantastic find on that sheet for your backing fabric. Well done.
