This is a Free BOM by Esther Aliu called Hearts Desire. You may have see a previous post about the borders. This is a mystery quilt and I just could not figure out how to choose the border fabric. Well, yesterday I just jumped in and pulled a fabric. Come to find out you had to do the border on this months block (there are 4 of them) before you do the applique, so this is what I came up with. One of my big problems is that the center does not seem to go with the other blocks, but maybe the borders pull it together, what do you think?

Wow, beautiful work. I can understand how overwhelming a person might feel. These are very detailed.

Beautiful work!! I think it's going to be wonderful!

I am doing the Baltimore BOM on here...all in batiks, but right now I am 2 months behind due to various projects, family visiting, etc. I have plenty of time to get caught up, but it's a little intimidating to get this far behind!!

Great work you are doing...can't wait to see it all done!!

The center goes very well now, with those corner blocks in place. It can come live with me if you don't like it. LOL
