All your blocks are beautiful! Looks like lots of fun figuring out what to do with each individual fabric.

MOM-6... you need to join up in the next Boomerang...it should start in June I think. They are a lot of fun and you get to see so much fabric you might never use otherwise.

finally 2 more to leave the house

AZKat sent "white" fabric and asked for the same tone of color be used in her block...ie, blue/blue, red/red so I used yellow/yellow as I didn't see that he had received any yellow as of yet. Hope she like the sunny block

Scrapper had a pleasing white with blue flowers on it and asked to use the colors in her fabric. We're (me and Dad) are liking this block for many different fabrics this time around. Hope she likes it too.

YES! YELLOW! I have all my blocks pinned to the wall and just said the other day if I don't get any yellow I was going to make some myself to even out the colors. This is great!

Big mail out day for Monday 04/22 -- 5 blocks going home

Alikatt110 send a country tan with little flowers. She is going to donate her quilts to the victims of the fertilizer plant explosion. I hope this block brings comfort in some small way to someone in need.

Country1 had a fun button fabric -- the center block just cracks me up as I have a couple naughty cats at home.

Goldendog55 had jewel toned flowers that we oohed and ahhhed over. Dad thinks this is one of his favorite colored blocks we've made so far.

Missgigglewings had some wonderful butterflies hiding in her fabric. To help give them flight we chose a D9P.

OkDarla had a striped multicolor fabric and asked for just black with it. We think the black just makes the other colors pop wonderfully.

We might get more done this weekend but it is truly a glorious day outside and Dad wants to be out there.

Hope you like our blocks. They might not be ironed perfectly but Dad has enjoyed working on all of them so far.

OK...4 more going home on Monday 04/29

Cuppy wanted to use just creams or whites with her whirly cream design....hope she like this. To some the design is "swapped" around but Dad wanted to change up the "envelopes" in this one for a different design.

Dottie Dodge just asked to used the colors in her fabric but not navy. We went with a light hearted tan and think it worked out pretty nice.

Babyfire had a sparky purple with dots. She didn't have any special request so we found a happy print that made us smile for her block.

Navarre asked for the colors in her fabric to be used. The mellow yellow stripe and stony gray seemed to blend nicely with her fabric.

Woo Hoo....the last 4 are going home!!!

Mosher was thinking summer with some watermelon fabric. She asked for tones of green as she was going to use them for placemats.

lovngrandma shared some bright red carnations with us. She just wanted us to have fun with her wide assortment of fabrics she mailed out. Here's what we came up with.

Girlscouts gave me a challenge with her hot pink with red and orange fabric. I hope she liked how this came out as we were pleasantly surprised how bright and pretty it looks to me and Dad.

Jaydee had the little kokopelli square to use for inspiration with her teal fabric. We found a couple great embroidery patterns and think it will blend great with her other blocks.

One f8 never showed up so if it shows up I'll do that block...if not, WE'RE DONE!!!!

Thanks for looking at all my blocks and hope they are enjoyed by all.
