I have not yet experienced a QAYG but yours looks great. What a wonderful quilt for a young boy.

I looked for a tutorial that explained better how I did it, but didn't find any. This quilt has no extra batting, just the fleece back and front. So I was able the stitch and flip, stitch top to top right sides, and bottom to bottom right sides, then flip and quilt.
