    I like the border you have on it, maybe bind with more of the deep purple? :D:D:D

    I would use the dark border only, and I would make it about 4 inches wide. It will frame the quilt and keep the eye on the beautiful quilt.

    That's a tough one!

    I *LOVE* the dark framing. I think it's perfect.

    The piano key? Normally I like how those turn out, but in this case the blocks are so stunning, they should be stand alone. Could you do a pinstripe solid color, say teal? Then it could be:

    Dark Border
    Teal Pinstripe (or other color)
    Dark Boarder
    Bind in the same dark color

    I agree with spin dreams. I would cut the piano key border down by at least 1/2, then add a 3 to 4" dark purple one and bind it in the dark purple.
