I like A. Sometimes blank spaces are good.

The 'A' version the border looks like a continuation of the center design, while the 'B' version doesn't really look like it quite fits the design.

    I vote A as well.

I like A best. Like those above it goes along with the asymmetry of your quilt. Which is very nice by the way.

Absolutely 'A' - the border then becomes and completes your design. The other option isn't any where near as effective. Great quilt!

I like "B"! Great job I love the balance in be. "A" seems like its about to top over because of the block on the right. No balance. Thanks for showing.
    Believe, it can be done!

I like A, but I think it needs a small strip of the orange fabric between the quilt and the larger border

Definitely A; it completes the design and continues its movement. And it is balanced--there is formal balance, where both sides match, and informal balance, where open spaces have their own weight to balance objects.

Either one is a good border but I would prefer B

Gorgeous Quilt. I tend to like A better. That white block on the top right just looks better by itself. You might try a few on the bottom left for balance.

I think I like "A" because it goes better with your quilt name "chain reaction"...keeps the chain reaction flowing.

I vote for A border but in all four corners, as two of the corners look pretty empty.

I also like A but I would put the pieced side at the solid block part of the quilt corners. Luann in CT
