I think I will probably use the crimson paisley that is the outside edge of the quilt border. There are several patterns int he border so think that anything too jarring might distract. What do you think?

That would absolutely be my choice, too; I was wondering if you had enough of that for the binding.

This border fabric was 60 inches wide. I think originally intended to be used as a tablecloth. By buying six yards I had enough for the four borders with the middle part left, however, that is now shrinking but I do have ample for the binding. It is remarkable how straight and true these borders are. Absolutely dead-on for accuracy. I have worked with some that left a bit to be desired, but this one didn't, nor did the other striped fabrics that were included in this collection. Would highly recommend Kaufmann's fabrics, or at least this version of them.
