Borders or no borders?

Beautiful! Yes, I would put a gold flange around it and a darker red border (a red that will match the red in the quilt of course) 4" in width ought to do it. It's is beautiful either way!

I like Joani2's suggestion (bottom of pg 1) or maybe a narrow black with a wider blue to match one of the blues in the quilt. Great job, beautiful quilt. Just seems to look a little unfinished without a border.

I was thinking just the opposite--Gold thin border followed by wider red print. Those two colors are very popular asian colors. Your quilt is lovely.
