I can't believe all the hst's on the last quilt ... yikes!
Just measured them for you - solid square finishes at 7-3/4" and with the hst's the block is a perfect 12" block. Yes, those hst's w/pts drove me nuts! But I love the way they automatically form the flying geese when they come together! I used 215 different fabrics for this one and the only quilt I ever counted because the intention was to use up some of the fabrics.lol there. Thank you so much Red Garnet for the nice compliment! I sure could make another one of those as I like it that well. Pattern is at Quilter's Cache, but did mine a little different than hers. Glad you like it!!

Red Garnett, I think I have a better pic of Dbl. Sawtooth showing the colors better. Just rushed thru this today without thinking which pic wanted to use. I like this one better.

Thank you, Chele! Yes, I think it's the navy/lavender together that makes it stand out. Lavender was the only color I wanted to make sure there was enough of in the hst's so it would stand out and I think it worked good.
