No Tirnhi, this was my first attempt at free motion on all the background areas and border - can't you tell!! - I cheated doing the echo quilting and used my open-toed foot lol!!

I chose the same colour thread to quilt and the backing fabric has a mosaic type pattern outlined with gold, the picture really doesn't do the fabrics any justice, they are VERY vibrant!!

Well, I don't care how you did it...it looks great!
I was just wondering on the quilting aspect.

    Aren't we all!
I'm debating on taking apart the heart quilt I made. I was looking at it...closely...and found some LARGE stitches in it that I really don't like. I didn't notice it before. Plus, I found some seams that really didn't match. Don't know how I missed that. But, it's on the last border, so that could be the reason. Thinking of taking that entire border off and putting on a red border that is one of the fabrics of the red in the heart.
I dunno. The more I look at the quilt, the more unhappy I am with it.
I now have until mid June to get it done, so I do have the time. They moved the date of the auction because the place they are having it at cancelled the date on them. Something about they need some maintenance done and this is the only time they can have it done. Good thing flyers weren't sent out yet, huh?
