    Boy Scout quilt 80 years

I've sown clothing most of my life and always loved quilts. Some I've seen on QB are so far above my skill level, I can only dream. My father turns 93 next month and has spent 80 years in the BSA this year. I found the panels and some assorted pieces and wanted to make something he might appreciate. Thanks for looking at the final project. I've been reading QB for almost a year, but never tried to show any of my other projects.

How wonderful! I am sure he will love it. One of my grandsons is one step away from Eagle Scout. I wanted to make him a quilt for his new "big boy" bedroom (he had motorcycles on his wall for 13 years). So I asked if he would like a boy scout quilt and he said, "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!" I am sure he will change his mind in 50 years.

Oh your quilt is so beautiful. Your dad will love it, and he will see how much you love him by how much love you put into this. Of coarse he already knows, but you know what I mean. My husband grew up years ago with his dad as scoutmaster. Happy Birthday to your dad. Dad's are special.
