Just lovely, you write that "My husband picked the pattern and the colors for this one..." Please tell us, did you actually get him into a Quilt Fabric Shop? Or did he have a catalog in his hands? Or shopping from an online source with great photos? tell us how you got him involved so successfully. thanks.

Very pretty. Great job and so straight! I took a class to do a french braid tablerunner. It was hard to keep the braids straight!

yonnikka, I have to be honest with you, my husband sews for a living. He does custom auto upholstery. He is known at one of the fabric shops in town that also has quilting materials as the guy that has the hot rod shop. He went into the quilt shop with me to pick out the fabric after I showed him a few different patterns on line. He has a much better eye for color than I do so I usually will tap into him for feedback on my color choices. Keep in mind this is only my second quilt I have made, check out my previous posts for my first quilt.

Love the soft neutral colors in your braid quilt. Lovely for a bed cover. You will enjoy it for lots of years and your husband will feel included in the process. You make a great team.
