Thank you all for the nice comments but I want to make sure you all know this isn't my idea. I got the idea from board members on the Quilting Board but I can't find the thread that told about the idea. Someone was looking for a gift to make for her children's teachers. The board members who responded to her request for quick and easy gifts should get the credit for the great idea. Anyway, I thought the idea was a good one and I loved making the basket for my DS.

:) That turned out so well and pretty, amazing what you've done for your $10! Simply beautiful.

Feathers- that turned out beautifully! I saw your posts about giving us credit... but YOU should take all of the credit! I can only speak for myself I guess, but I just gave you a little spark and you took it to a whole new level. I love the fabrics you chose and how you put it together with the rice bag and the basket. That was one lucky hostess. I bet you'll be getting a whole lot more dinner invitations!

What a great idea! I love the fabric you used. I'll have to share this idea with my SIL. She's always snuggling up to a warmed up rice bag when she's cold, but I don't think she's ever considered using it to keep her buns warm (no pun intended). :-)

Thank you, 2Me...I'm glad you responded as I just couldn't find the thread for that suggestion . My sister loved the basket and I know she will be using it for every big dinner occasion ...especially when I get some other holiday motif bags made for the basket. Thanks for the suggestion. Love it.
