Thanks for all the wonderful compliments everyone. It really makes me feel good to know that my work is so well received.

I am new here so I missed the topic of turning the sewing machine 90 deg. I searched for it but couldn't find it. Can you explain it or show me where it was discussed? It is so hard to get all the quilt under the machine so I am going to lap quilt it, I think.

It seems that several people are interested in the measurements of the block that I used, so here it is. I believe I got it from my EQ5, then I opened it in Paint, and put the numbers on it.
Enjoy!

Lovely log cabin!
Eleanor Burns is a wonderful teacher. I too have her log cabin book and several others. If you are wanting to learn a quick and efficient way to do something, I highly recommend her books. She's a bit of a nut on TV, but she is fun to watch! Lots of times she gives really good hints on her shows. I would never just throw bits and pieces over my shoulder, like she does in her shows; my room would change from just being a thready mess to looking like a hurricane struck it. LOL
Thank you for sharing your quilt and all of your information!

Thanks so much for the information. I used to watch her TV show when we could get quilting shows on our public TV, but now almost everything has been canceled in our area. My husband (who is now deceased) used to tape her shows for me, so I have a collection on VCR -- duh. Nobody watched their VCR anymore, or do they? Anyway, I appreciate you giving out this information.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! I want to do a log cabin this year and this surely helps! One question - the numbers you have - are they the cut sizes or finished sizes? BY THE WAY - LOVE your quilt!
