    Bug on a flower

Created this little 1 x 2 foot quilt because I am so thankful our yucky MN winter is coming to a close. We need Spring and Summer real bad!

Eastern Canada, likewise needs some spring. We are into our 6th month of snow and that is 5.5 too much. I like your bug.

I can understand about Minnesota winters: it's why we decided not to move back there...Love the golden yellow fabric choice and what you did with the leaf on this cute little project!

So much to like about this. The bright happy colors, the cute subject matter and your wonderful quilting. I am intrigued by the blue thread you used on the flower petals as I see little sparkles here and there. Is it a metalic or just a very shiney poly?

You've done an outstanding job on that little quilt! Love it! I wholeheartedly agree with you on saying goodbye to that winter we went through. For those of you not from Minnesota, they aren't always as bad as this last one! I do love the change of seasons and would miss it. The transformations we go through are a miracle every year.

I love it!! We had very little snow this winter here in the Piedmont of North Carolina, but we had constant rain and dark gray days for weeks on end. I wish I had your little bug on flower to see ever day. So cheerful and sweet!
