I like the pattern you chose and especially the pinwheel border. The scrappy binding adds the perfect touch. Thank you for showing us this pretty quilt.

Very cute. I majored in bugs in college, but I think I'll make one also. I have some bug fabrics and after the recent move was able to make a tub marked "food and critter theme fabrics". But sadly I do not have enough. Maybe a bug or theme swap would do the trick.

Did you collect the fabrics specifically???? How did you get so many?

so adorable. You must have been collecting bugs for a very long time. My grandson would flip for such a cutie.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments on my bug quilt. To answer some questions-yes-I have been collecting bug fabric for some time. When one of my granddaughters was just born, my son carried her into the hospital room and said "meet my little Katie Bug." She has been called that now for 10 years!!! So I knew some day I would make a bug quilt for her. The pinwheels in the border were made from the scraps I cut off of the main blocks.
Also, this is not a good picture of the whole quilt-my granddaughter was helping me put pictures on the computer so hope I can share a better picture soon. Somehow I still have a lot of bug fabric-my stash never seems to deplete!!!
