Strips look fine except the two red ones. Maybe you could embroider something on it.

I like the idea of putting words or even a design on one of them. You also might consider putting ribbon or rickrack on one of the reds, that would make it look different. I can't believe that happened, you couldn't have done it more perfectly if you tried.

I don't think it needs fixing but I know what you mean when you say your eye goes right there. That's only because you know it's there. Sometimes I applique over a spot I hate :) Maybe that's a good spot for a snowflake :)
