    Burgoyne Surrounded Scrappy Quilt

This is my first attempt at posting a picture. I just finished this quilt. It is being donated to my cousin's church in New York for a fundraiser auction. Last year's quilt that I donated brought $1400. Wish us luck this year! It's a Queen 95 x 95.

Beautiful! Always one of my favorite traditional quilt patterns. Good luck at the auction, hope you break last years record!
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

I got my book off of Ebay for $8 - Burgoyne Surrounded Quilt Pattern by Eleanor Burns 1992 Quilt In A Day Quilt Pattern Book. The pattern calls for 2 or 3 colors, but I saw a quilt on this site using scraps, so that's what I used. I also enlarged mine. The pattern calls for 2" strips, but I used 2 1/2" strips. Good Luck!

Oh dear!! This is really a beauty of a quilt. I hope it makes tons of money for the auction.

I have this one on my list of quilt to do for myself. Love the Burgoyne Surrounded pattern.
