    I agree with all the others, just wanted to add also, that the whitish blue eyes may be how a dog's eyes reflect the flash - they don't get "red eye" like we do.
    (That's not to say that the dog doesn't have cataracts, most older dogs do.)

    Oh I think you did a gorgeous job! Sorry to hear this may be your last portrait. I've heard the same thing from people who do human portraits.

    Great job. I think the "cataracts" are just light refraction from the camera flash. But you did a lovely job.

    I think all the animal portraits I have seen your pictures of have been wonderful ~ this one included! I do think customers could at least let you know that they are pleased with the results and save you a lot of worry! Great work!
