Love it! It is very wild and I agree black and white border would be too much and take away from the quilt. I vote solid black border.

I think a piano key border for sure! It would be beautiful using leftover colors. Nice job!

I'm with rmstress. If you do piano keys you're using the black and white anyway........AND......you're adding another design element. Doesn't that just pull your eyes another direction? the black and white has already been introduced and in a checkerboard will just be a repeat of a design element that is already there. perhaps do a small checkerboard border, then finish with a solid black "frame". I also liked Ditter's suggestion of B&W Tone on tone. You have made a Stunning quilt in my opinion.. we all know I'm a bit of a wildchild when it comes to color and design sooooo. If you finish and don't like it I'll send you my address!! BTW.. what's the pattern and where do I find it? It's truly a knockout!

Personally, I like the piano key border idea. But if you just want to "calm" it down, perhaps a white border with black binding would help.

I vote for a narrow black border and black backing. I love bright and bold colors. Great job.

I would do the black and white squares. I think it would echo the black and white in the centers of your blocks and look nice. It's not more color so I don't think it would make it too busy.

If it were my quilt, I would put a black border, then a two row border of black and white checkerboard (4 patches), and another row of black. And I might bind it in red.

I like your idea to finish with thin blace border all around and maybe make a piano key border with leftover fabrics from the top.
Very pretty quilt. Great job.

I wouldn't put a border on it I would just bind it in black to match all the sashings.
