I love the pics of the quilts with their new owners. Nice one.
Home is where the heart is, and a few scrappy quilts.

How nice that you took the time to make both of these quilts for your grandchildren. I especially like how individual the tent blocks are! Some flaps are open, some have three trees behind, the setting sun, then finally the moon. I really like your DGS's quilt! Great job!
    Go forth and sew!

Quilts are very nice but your grandchildren are delightful. How special to snuggle under a quilt grandma made.

Thank you so much for all your kind words!!! These quilts really were fun to put together and even more fun in use. When I told my sister what I was doing she made the quip that she wanted a camping quilt too ... so here we go again!

I made them to be used & loved ~ after a quick wash you couldn't tell that they had been taken out in the dirt. (P.S. my kiddo's are from your neck of the woods.)

What a wonderful idea! And so cute. Camping quilts, so named so that is okay for them to take along to keep warm and get dirty and be used and loved!

I found the pattern on Pinterest - http://www.rileyblakedesigns.com/cut...elicity-quilt/#
and it took 15 fat quarters for the blocks. Super easy to put together!

That's what I thought, too... too nice for camping. But it looks like your grandkids are (pardon the pun) super happy campers! Both of these are great! Is there a pattern for your DGD's?
