WOW!~This was FUN! :)
Followed it all the way to the end of the comments....
Lesson I learned?!?!!? Label ALLLLL my quilts!~I don't have very many quilts AT ALL to show for my work, I've given them ALL away. I know most have all gotten labels on them, but not all of them. I just assumed the people I gave them to would always keep them and appreciate them, but you never know. GREAT POSTS

i would try to find her, if she has passed i would find a daugher, but first i would, well for me, i would make a quilt just like that, colors n label just to remember it ..

was not a single person, but a sewing circle named Martha Dorcus from two ladies in the bible. Quilt going to my great grand son due in Jan. .

not one person. turned out to be a sewing group for the church. Had nice email answer from church, so we did find her in a way....smile

I was thinking that too. I made 3 Christmas wreaths one year and gave them to three friends. I found one at the local thrift store. I get it that maybe it wasn't their style but it hurt just the same.
