I really like your candle mat Tartan and it is on my "to - do " list. I made the mistake of trying to help someone who kindly asked about details. I didn't have a pattern - but worked it out myself by just looking at a photo of one and the instructions were VERY different to the pattern - which I then purchased. I had a blunt reply from a fellow member and immediately asked the Moderator to delete my post. It was thought there was no problem - but it was removed at my request. I was only trying to help and it brought me down to earth with a bit of a jolt. It made me feel terrible and a lesson learnt. Here is a link to the pattern -

Oh Dotty that's so sad. Mine is made from the poorhouse pattern I bought. I made one of the first type fold and sew wreaths from squares and it really wasn't that hard to make. So many had problems with the pattern. When I made that one I made a square with a border not applique like the pattern. I posted on here then also. I didn't think I was hurting anyone. Sure didn't mean to. Most of us just try to help each other.
