Love the bag and the pants are very cool.....we also re-use, re-purpose and re-cycle. I have two big compost bins on the go, we love thinking of ways to use all the bits and pieces left over from other projects.

I love how you used the waistband of the dockers for the top of your bag. I'm going to try that on a bag made from Levi jeans. Also, if more people would recycle, we could leave a cleaner earth for future generations.

Not cheap...socially conscious! At least that's what I tell hubby when he complains about recycling! Love the pants and the bag!

Ishtars Mom, thanks for the book recommendation, the Persian pickle club. I'm learning to make do because I don't have a choice right now, after losing my job of 13 years, its been a struggle. Im learning, and getting better at it. LIfe takes on a different look when your struggling to pay for food, and pay the bills. Thanks for all the tips!
