Update on my quilt. I mis calculated the amount of fabric needed for the borders. I had 64 inches with 5 repeats of the pattern. I was 21 inches short. There doesn't seem to be anymore. I know it has been forever since I bought that. Despite the fact that I had sewed it on and tried to fill the extra space with the scraps, I just wasn't happy. The choice was: l. make it a UFO again, 2. take that border off and replace it with another one where I had plenty of fabric. Since I want to cross it off the UFO list, I am taking that border off, yes, another date with Jack the Ripper, and finishing the quilt.Original border, not enough.
