Amma, I thought about that too. That would be a neat idea.

Aww, thank you guys for the compliments. I still haven't used it yet and once my little sister and nieces see it, I bet they'll want one too. lol

Hey! I finally got to see it! Looks great!!!! I always wanted to make one.
HEY!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A PERFECT RECYCLER & MAYBE IT WOULD BE GOOD TO USE FOR A GROCERY BAG SINCE THEY'RE GETTING RID OF THE PLASTIC?

Is this thing going to be pretty durable? Looks like they would. I mean, I know you sewed it well, but do you think the juice packs would rip under pressure? I tend to be very rough on bags...I have a small *cough* tendency to overpack...

I saw a woman with one of these the other day and hadn't seen one for a while before then.

I don't know about the durability. I'll have to use it to find out. I know what you mean, I'm pretty rough on bags myself. I sewed it with invisible thread and I wondered if I shouldn't but it seems strong enough. So, we shall see...

Heather-You did a great job and your directions are terrific.

I wanted to share a picture of one that a friend of mine sent to me from the Phillipines. It is made out of Mango drink pouches!! It has a zipper on the top and two zippered pockets inside. This one is so big that I use it as a pool tote or grocery bag.
