Card Trick Runner
#31
Cute...thanks for the idea! I just pulled out a row that I had started for a quilt...knowing I would not have fabric enough to finish, I put it right back. Now I will pull it out and put a binding on it ... Just as if I planned it that way!

In one of the recent catalogues I saw a table runner I liked...and being frugal (or cheap) I didn't want to pay over $10 for the fabric and free pattern. The kit was for different colors of reds, but I had a better selection of pinks so I went with that. The pattern is free all over the internet!
I usually do the card trick with strip piecing. This one is actually done by cutting the triangles.

If you do an internet search...a .pdf is available for the 'card trick on point' pattern by Jan Bennett Collier...with a reference to this quilting board.
Not exactly strip piecing..but certainly less difficult than all those triangles!
