    this was the quickie monkey ~ I know I didn't choose a lot of contrast, but kids don't care, they just love to snuggle under whatever when they are quilted... I like the true diamonds so much better, but OMG those Y seams are a real pain... Does everyone have to mark their 1/4 inch marks so they know where to stop? I found it helped me. I didn't buy a pattern, I am a graphic designer, so I just plotted out the pattern and then started cutting to see if it would work. If my kids walk off with my mechanical pencil, I'll be sunk!
    (I was in a rush, so don't laugh too hard at the monkeys)
