Not terribly happy with mine either! Used three colors, blue, yellow and white. Looks kind of washed out, not much contrast at all, except for the dark blue strip around the actual star. At least yours has some contrast and I really like the floral fabric! Maybe we can switch when I get mine finished. I have to put the borders on it.

Don't be too hasty. Wait until you get it quilted. Quilting works wonders. I think it is very pretty. Give it time to grow on you.

I am so anxious to try this pattern. Everytime someone posts a carpenter's wheel I print the picture and hang it up. It is definitely on my bucket list!! What a great quilt. {{{{{{{{{{{{{applause}}}}}}}}}}}}

For sure do not put this quilt away unfinished! I like the white border but if it was me I would switch the 1st inner &
2nd borders then do the white then the big floral border. The colors are so vintage & nostalgic to me & as someone said it gives me pleasure to look at it. Even if you don't change anything about the quilt, do have it quilted. As the majority of QB members have said, you are going to have a beautiful quilt when the quilting is done. PLEASE post a picture for us to see.

Just wonderful, great job and thank you for sharing, I think you will find it great if you finish it and let the quilting do the talking for you.
Have a Blessed day
