Well its is a little "bold" but a man who wears cartoons characters on his tie is one bold dude! Beautiful!

That is the greatest tie quilt I have ever seen. First of all, I love the man's fun sense of life in choosing these ties to wear to his teaching job. Imagine what the kids thought. And I like the way the quilt was designed and the way you quilted it. I would imagine that it drew lots of comments in the quilt show. Great piece of art.

With ties like that, I can only imagine that he was a really fun teacher. Undoubtedly everyone's favorite. Great quilt and lovely quilting.

It's great to share this world with people like the three of you. He shared those wonderful ties with "his kids". his friend was so happy to make the quilt for him, and you deemed it a privilege to quilt it for him.
