Very pretty, you did a great job. I think a medium blue border if you only use one border.

I agree, a deep blue wide border will frame your beautiful blocks and emphasize the movement that you've achieved with your gradiated color layout,.

I always do.

Look how great the lightest lights look right next to the dark squares on that center diagonal. They're GLOWING.

I think a nice wide dark border will just make the whole center sparkle. It's like midnight.

However, conversely, if you used the lightest light on the border, you'd get a whole North Pole frigid feel to it. Which could be very interesting.

So either extreme, not some value in the middle because that would just muddle the whole quilt. One border. Wide.

And matching, not contrasting, binding.
